Revitalising one of Sydney’s favourite places – Darling Harbour

Darling Harbour Live (comprising Lend Lease, Capella Capital, HOSTPLUS, AEG Ogden and Spotless) and Lend Lease are partnering with the NSW Government to deliver Darling Harbour's most exciting renewal in 25 years.

Darling Harbour Live is a 'once in a generation' opportunity to build on the success of Darling Harbour and create one of the world’s best areas to live, meet and be entertained. Darling Harbour will become home to Australia’s largest convention and exhibition facilities, Sydney’s largest red carpet entertainment venue, and a luxury hotel. Opening in late 2016, the new world-class convention, exhibition and entertainment facilities are aimed at ensuring Sydney remains the choice in Australia and Asia Pacific for the competitive business events industry.

The project will also develop the southern end of Darling Harbour into one of Sydney’s most innovative residential and working districts called Darling Square.

Not only will the area become a beacon for Sydneysiders, locals and tourists alike for conventions and events, but will also build on the enormous appeal that Darling Harbour already has for Sydneysiders by creating an exciting entertainment hub that promises to reconnect and re-energise our great city.

Infrastructure NSW is the NSW Government agency managing the 20 hectare transformation. Darling Harbour and the new convention, exhibition and entertainment venues will remain in public ownership through Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority. A dynamic calendar of events and entertainment during the redevelopment will keep the precinct active and vibrant.
